Make peace with time

One of the best things about working exclusively with marketers is that they inherently understand how the game works. They know that achieving recognition by an industry is organic and a building process.

Clients in other industries, however, almost always must be disabused of the idea that there is a magic media hit that will cause their business to explode and their coffers to overflow. That’s not (okay, almost never) how it works.

Profile raising is a turtle’s game. Slow and steady wins the race. And consistency is the key.

As for consistency — stop and write 100 words about one small thing you know will be helpful to your clients’ businesses and ship (post) it.
